Old Fort Niagara's interpretive staff and volunteers and re-enacting units throughout the region will come together over Memorial Day weekend, May 27-28, to present "Soldiers through the Ages" at the historic landmark in Youngstown. This military timeline event traces the history of Fort Niagara from the early explorers of the 17th century through the mid-20th century. The event features special exhibits, camps, weapons and battle-tactic demonstrations.

Audubon Women's Medical Associates PC has announced it will move this fall to 2240 N. Forest Road, which is 1.5 miles from its current location at 1360 N. Forest Road (near Maple Road). Founded in 1993, the all-female OB-GYN practice will move into a 14,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility. The old location was 8,600 square feet.

The Lewiston Community Lions welcomed current Tuscarora Princess SieAnna Hoover to the club's May dinner meeting. As reigning princess, she has represented the Tuscarora Nation locally at the Peach Festival, gave a youth activism speech at the University at Buffalo, and traveled to Washington, D.C., Wisconsin and Indiana.
