The Yahoo Community Benefit Fund and the Yahoo Community Fund for Niagara County, two grant funds administered by the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, are now accepting applications from nonprofits serving Niagara County. Qualifying nonprofits are welcome to apply to both grant funds.

Unyts will host an ongoing Buffalo Bandits-themed blood drive from April 15-22 at all of its locations across Western New York. Over this time, all presenting donors who donate will be rewarded with a pair of tickets to an upcoming Bandits game, courtesy of Unyts.

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo on Tuesday announced the Western New York highlights of the 2018 state budget, which builds on the state's fiscal discipline over the last six years while strengthening the middle class, reducing taxes and making smart investments in New York's future. For the seventh consecutive year, the budget is balanced and holds spending growth below 2 percent.

Empower, the not-for-profit organization formerly known as Niagara Cerebral Palsy, will offer a free theater camp to children with autism, beginning June 6. Up to 40 students who are between the ages of 7 and 15 and who have autism spectrum disorder, will be accepted.
