Renovations to the parking garage at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will begin Monday, April 10. The work, which will be completed in stages, is expected to last into the summer, and will include structural repairs and maintenance on five of the structure's seven levels.

Trustees in the Village of Lewiston have met twice with Deputy Treasurer Edward Walker, and are finalizing a budget proposal for the 2017-18 fiscal year. As it stands now, the property tax rate is set to increase 8 cents, from $7.38 per $1,000 of assessed valuation to $7.46.
