Responding to comments aired at Town Hall sessions along with other feedback following its proposal to amend its Host Community Agreement with the Town of Lewiston and local law 24C-2, Modern Corporations notified the town this week that it is rescinding that offer.
Holiday Mail for Heroes program under way

For a fourth year, the American Red Cross and Pitney Bowes Inc. are teaming up to deliver holiday cards to service members, their families and veterans, many of whom will be far from home this holiday season. The Holiday Mail for Heroes program provides Americans with the opportunity to send holiday greetings and a note of thanks to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours looks to expand Water Street operation

Water Street Landing may soon receive a major facelift. On Monday, Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours President John Kinney informed the Village of Lewiston Planning Board of his intention to add a multi-story addition to the north side of the restaurant building his company owns.
