Mayor Arthur G. Pappas has announced the lineup for the free, four-concert series "North Tonawanda's Rockin' On The River" at Gratwick Riverside Park. Shows will be held Fridays, July 10, 17, 31 and Aug. 7. The featured acts include USS, SOJA, Lou Gramm, and Warren Haynes with Railroad Earth.

The Buffalo Sabres today announced Dan Bylsma has been hired as the 17th head coach in franchise history. With 479 total games coached during six NHL seasons, Bylsma becomes the most experienced head coach to join the Sabres since the team hired Scotty Bowman in 1979.
