Chorey was speaking about the impetus for a Gospel crusade, the "Field of Miracles: The Return," which will be coming to Sal Maglie Stadium for three days in August.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced they will hold their annual summer development camp from July 10-12 at First Niagara Center. This will mark the second year in a row that the ice will be installed during the summer and the development camp will be held at the home of the Sabres. Camp will conclude with "Sabres Summer Fan Fest," a day of hockey-themed entertainment on Buffalo's waterfront, on July 12, beginning at 3 p.m.

Award-winning executive producer Mark Burnett ("The Voice," "Celebrity Apprentice") will continue his relationship with the peacock network by bringing "A.D.: Beyond the Bible" (working title) to NBC. Working with his wife, actress Roma Downey, this is Burnett's follow-up project to spring's enormously popular 10-part miniseries "The Bible."
"We are thrilled to be working with Bob, Jen and Quinn Taylor to bring the follow-up to our hit cable series 'The Bible' to broadcast television with NBC," Burnett and Downey said. The Buffalo Sabres selected a league-high 11 prospects, including seven forwards, three defensemen and a goaltender, at the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, which was held Sunday at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. Buffalo also traded defenseman Andrej Sekera to the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for defenseman Jamie McBain and a second-round pick (35th overall) in this year's draft.
