Major renovations to the lower level of Niagara University's Gallagher Center will provide an entirely new backdrop to the university's popular Live Music Series. SIRSY, The Brass Monkeez and That 80's Hair Band headline the 2011 schedule, which gets under way on Sept. 16.

Thousands of hopefuls will have one more opportunity to audition for season 11 of "American Idol" at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J., on Thursday, Sept. 22. The New Jersey auditions will be the last stop on a nationwide search for the best undiscovered talent in the country. Season 11 auditions were also held in St. Louis; Portland, Ore.; San Diego; Pittsburgh; Charleston, S.C.; Denver; and Houston.

After nine weeks of grueling competition, last night's surprising finale episode of Oxygen's "The Glee Project" charged the four finalists with their definitive "Glee"-inspired homework assignment of "Glee-ality," performing Journey's epic hit "Don't Stop Believin'." The final episode turned into an emotional reunion as the eight eliminated contenders and previous "Glee" guest mentors returned in support of the four finalists. All 12 contenders joined forces one last time to create a celebratory yet bittersweet music video shoot to end the season. The contenders performed Pink's triumphant "Raise Your Glass," in dramatic fashion atop a high-rise building overlooking downtown Los Angeles.

TNT began production this week on its intriguing new original series "Perception," starring Emmy- and Screen Actors Guild Award-winner Eric McCormack ("Will & Grace"). The series about an eccentric neuroscientist who helps solve complex criminal cases also stars Rachael Leigh Cook ("She's All That," "Psych"), Arjay Smith ("The Day After Tomorrow") and Kelly Rowan ("The O.C."). TNT has ordered 10 episodes of "Perception," which will join the network's lineup in summer 2012.

ION Television is set to premiere its newly acquired dramedy series "Psych" and "Monk" beginning Sunday, Aug. 21, at 6 p.m. ET. Both series will air on ION's successful primetime Saturday and Sunday schedules, with a four-hour block of "Monk" premiering 6-10 p.m. and a five-hour block of "Psych" airing from 10 p.m.-3 a.m. The critically acclaimed series will launch on ION's weekend schedule starting with season one.

Children from Education Through Music-Los Angeles (ETM-LA), a non-profit organization with the mission to provide music education to disadvantaged schools, joined the contenders in performing My Chemical Romance's "Sing."

TNT has renewed its fast-paced, light-hearted caper drama "Leverage" for a fifth season, just as the fourth season is shaping up to score the show's biggest ratings yet. TNT has ordered 15 episodes of "Leverage," with the fifth season slated to launch in summer 2012. The series - which centers on a gang of grifters, hackers and thieves out to settle scores against the rich and powerful - currently airs Sunday at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). After the show's Aug. 28 summer finale, "Leverage" will return to wrap up its fourth season with new episodes in November and December.

It was a sold-out, standing-room-only crew that attended the Foster the People concert at the Tralf on Tuesday, Aug. 9. The LA band, crowned as "the wunderkinds of indie dance pop," has a huge high school/college crowd following, but it was a very diverse crowd on this night. To be sure, there was a wave of girlish screams heard as Mark Foster and company bounced onstage.
