ABC Family has picked up an additional one-hour scripted drama, "The Lying Game." The drama is in addition to the three previously announced series pick-ups, the one-hour dramas "The Nine Lives of Chloe King" and "Switched at Birth," and the half-hour multi-cam comedy series, "The Great State of Georgia."

Auditions for the highly anticipated singing competition "The X Factor" are set to begin on Sunday, March 27, in Los Angeles at the L.A. Sports Arena. The search for the next global superstar will continue in Miami on Thursday, April 7; Newark, N.J., on Thursday, April 14; Seattle on Wednesday, April 20; Chicago on Wednesday, April 27; and Dallas (date to be announced).

For the first time ever, "American Idol" will allow viewers to vote for their favorite contestants online at americanidol.com. Sponsored by AT&T, online voting begins immediately after the first performance show airing Tuesday, March 1 (8-9:30 p.m. ET/PT) on FOX. In addition to online voting, fans will continue to be able to vote via toll-free phone lines, as well as unlimited text-message votes for AT&T wireless customers during the voting window (standard text-messaging rates may apply).

The sixth season of NBC's top-rated summer series, "America's Got Talent," will tape shows in front of a live audience in cities across the country starting in Seattle on March 2 and 3. After Seattle, the talent competition series will travel to Los Angeles (March 9-10), Minneapolis (March 23-24), New York (March 31-April 1), Atlanta (April 12-14) and Houston (April 19-20).

A favorite star from "High School Musical" will be joined by six multitalented performers in a new music and dance-driven comedy pilot, "Madison High" (working title). The series pilot introduces a troupe of theater students led by the melodramatic drama teacher Ms. Darbus, a beloved character from the cultural sensation "High School Musical." Production on the pilot begins in March in consideration for a Disney Channel series to premiere in early 2012.
