The Ride For Roswell, the single largest fundraising event in Western New York, and North America's largest single-day cycling fundraiser, concluded its 20th year this past weekend by raising a total of $4.5 million for cancer research and patient-care programs at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Erie Canal Harbor Development Corp. cut the ribbon Monday on the Queen City Bike Ferry to Buffalo's Outer Harbor. The brand-new multihull ferry will carry pedestrians and their bikes across the Buffalo River from Canalside to the First Buffalo Marina, where they can disembark and enjoy touring Outer Harbor sites and beyond.
