Speaking to the media Monday at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, Gov. Andrew Cuomo praised the Buffalo Bills organization for the team's best season since the early 1990s. The team's season ended Sunday, with the Bills losing to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.

On Wednesday, New York State Supreme Court Justice the Hon. Henry J. Nowak, J.S.C., granted a preliminary injunction against a New York State Department of Health order placing portions of Erie County into a micro-cluster action initiative "orange zone." He allowed the almost 100 applicants permission to operate under "yellow zone" restrictions "pursuant to the DOH's Interim COVID-19 Guidance."

Collin Lacki is a sophomore at Niagara County Community College studying music in hopes of pursuing a career in music therapy one day. He decided to enroll at NCCC because of the quality education he could receive at the college, while still getting a typical on-campus experience away from his home in Brocton. As a student with a disability, a quality education for Collin also meant receiving support through the accessibility services office on campus.
