Sensory space for children with special needs

Thanks to funding from the Peter and Elizabeth Tower Foundation, sensory space programming will be offered for children with developmental disabilities or other special needs through the Youngstown Recreation Department.

The Niagara County Department of Health confirmed a rabid bat on Wilson-Burt Road, Town of Wilson, on Aug. 8. The bat was found outdoors on Aug. 4. No pets were implicated. The Niagara County nursing division will assess any possible human exposure and recommend any post-exposure rabies treatment as appropriate.
