The Niagara County Coyotes Bantam Major AA team won the Bantam Major Division in the Niagara Falls Columbus Day Tournament Monday, Oct. 13. The Coyotes won the championship defeating the Southpointe Rink Rats from Pennsylvania by a score of 4-2.

The New York Power Authority will reopen the south access road and pedestrian walkway leading to the popular free fishing pier at the base of the Niagara Power Project's Robert Moses Niagara Power Plant effective Saturday, Nov. 1. The shoreline stairway also will open for seasonal use.
