Family & Children's Service of Niagara announces 2014 award recipients

The 11th season of "So You Think You Can Dance" debuts with auditions from New Orleans and Chicago on a two-hour premiere event airing tonight at 8 p.m. on FOX. Next week, the Emmy Award-nominated series continues with audition episodes in Chicago and Los Angeles Wednesday, June 4 (8 p.m.); in Los Angeles and Philadelphia Wednesday, June 11 (8 p.m.); and in Atlanta Wednesday, June 18 (8 p.m.).

Only 30 percent will find a matching donor within their family. Over the past 25 years, "Be The Match," operated by the National Marrow Donor Program, has managed the largest and most diverse marrow registry in the world.

Samantha Tremko lost her mom suddenly when she was just 7 years old.

Her family was just settling down from a family vacation in Florida, making the long drive home to North Tonawanda. After dropping grandparents off at their home, Samantha's mom, Robin, suffered a blood clot to the heart.

Samantha's whole world suddenly changed.

The official numbers from the Youngstown Village elections trustee and mayoral races are in. Raleigh Reynolds succeeded in winning his first full term as mayor, with 328 votes, 72 more than Republican mayoral nominee Norman Swann.
