WGRZ-TV in Buffalo has announced veteran reporter Pete Gallivan will return to his roots and his home at 2 On Your Side. Gallivan will return as a news and sports reporter/anchor, covering the issues and people of Western New York, as well as providing in-depth coverage and analysis of the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bills.

Throughout this week, residents visiting the mayor's office in the Red Brick Municipal Building have been encouraged to sign the document. To date, more than 500 have obliged. Dr. Joshua Smith of Serene Gardens on Grand Island Boulevard is hoping the Grand Island Garden Tour will open some horizons when it debuts July 6 and 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"It's the first time Grand Island's been a part of the national garden tour," Smith said. "It's all free for everyone to join as well as free for everyone to visit the tour, visit the houses."

The Buffalo Sabres have announced they will hold their annual summer development camp from July 10-12 at First Niagara Center. This will mark the second year in a row that the ice will be installed during the summer and the development camp will be held at the home of the Sabres. Camp will conclude with "Sabres Summer Fan Fest," a day of hockey-themed entertainment on Buffalo's waterfront, on July 12, beginning at 3 p.m.
