Chad Brachmann of Sanborn won the Mighty Taco Modified main and his first 358 modified title at Ransomville Speedway on Sept. 2. Brachmann came from 11th place to the point position on lap 33 and quickly pulled away from the field aboard the 50-lap main.

The Miss America Organization and ABC announce Chris Harrison will host the "2012 Miss America Pageant" live telecast from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 (9-11 p.m., ET), on ABC. Harrison was co-host of ABC's live telecast of the 2011 Miss America Pageant with Brooke Burke. The 2011 pageant drew ABC's biggest non-sports audience in the timeslot since April 2009, reaching 14.6 million viewers nationwide. He first hosted the iconic broadcast on ABC in 2004.

The Bobby Grenga Memorial 5K run/walk begins at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, at Goat Island (parking lot 3) in Niagara Falls. The cost is $25 ($15 for students). All proceeds benefit the Bobby Grenga Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Starting Thursday, Sept. 15, and continuing for six weeks, Mount St. Mary's will present the "CHEERS Program" ("Choosing Healthy Eating and Exercise Routines for a Healthier Life"). This program teaches children and their families simple eating and exercise plans, which they can internalize and use throughout life.
