Assemblyman John Ceretto, R-I-Lewiston, is sponsoring legislation that would return state lands that are currently receiving property-tax exemptions back onto Niagara County's tax rolls. Lewiston's 18-hole, par 72 Seneca Hickory Stick Golf is slated to open on Friday. The Creek Road site, which debuted last year, was voted the sixth-best new course in America by Golf Magazine. It was fashioned by acclaimed designer Robert Trent Jones II.
