Many years ago, March was proclaimed Irish American Heritage Month to honor the contributions of Irish immigrants. Each year, the Ladies Ancient Order Hibernians are on hand at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA to celebrate Irish Heritage Days. They'll be there again this year, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 5.

The Town of Niagara Lions Club is selling chocolate Easter bunnies. They have been specially made locally by Niagara's Honeymoon Sweets and are 6 inches tall and 1/2-inch thick, embedded with an edible Lions logo, wrapped in cellophane, and tied with purple and yellow lace.

Last night, "American Idol" revealed this season's Top 13 finalists: Casey Abrams, Naima Adedapo, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Ashthon Jones, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Thia Megia, Haley Reinhart, Karen Rodriguez and Pia Toscano. After America's votes for the Top 10 were revealed, judges Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler chose Naima Adedapo, Ashthon Jones and Stefano Langone as wild cards.
