Admission tickets for the Erie County Fair go on sale starting July 1 at www.ECFair.org. Adult admission tickets are $17 when purchased online (no additional fees) or $20 at the gate (credit/debit card only). Kids ages 12 and under receive free admission. Parking will be free (on lots owned by the Fairgrounds).

At 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park will host the third annual Student Military Recognition Ceremony to honor all Western New York student recruits from the Class of 2023. The event, which will take place at U.S. Coast Guard Sector Buffalo, will recognize more than 120 students.

Dr. Brittany Montross, M.D., RPVI; Dr. Sikandar Khan, MBBS; and Dr. Raphael Blochle, M.D., have joined Memorial and will offer a certified noninvasive vascular lab service, providing vascular care to the Niagara Falls community.

A new song, "Pour Over Me," from the forthcoming album, is out now. The album was recorded live in Costa Mesa, California. I have lived on Grand Island since 1987. My wife, Leslie (Elias) Madigan, is a lifelong Islander. Leslie and I raised two boys (young men), William and Matthew, who both attended and graduated from the Grand Island School District. We are both currently raising two cats (Murdock and Kitty) and a dog (Nilla). I am an avid hunter, fisherman, enjoy skiing in the winter and sailing in the summer (crew in races on Lake Erie).
