On June 2-3, the Buffalo Zoo's African lion pride grew when it welcomed the birth of four active lion cubs. All cubs were born to their mother, Lusaka, and father, Tiberius.

A new requirement heads to Gov. Hochul's desk to be signed into law, which expands New York's "Slow Down/Move Over" law. The expansion includes disabled vehicles that are parked on the shoulder of a controlled access highway or parkway, requiring drivers to exercise caution when approaching a disabled vehicle.

The American Heart Association has issued its first scientific treatment statement for pediatric cardiomyopathy, a rare disorder affecting the structure of the heart muscle that can lead to heart failure and death.
