On Tuesday, KeyBank hosted its 32nd annual "Neighbors Make the Difference Day." From 1-5 p.m., hundreds of teammates in Buffalo spent time volunteering with community organizations at more than 40 service projects in the region. They joined thousands of KeyBank teammates nationwide in receiving paid time off to volunteer at more than 500 projects in the neighborhoods where they live and work.

More than 5,300 U.S. Postal Service employees were attacked by dogs while delivering the mail last year. In USPS' 2022 listings of dog attack rankings by city, Buffalo ranked 18th out of 36 cities examined, while New York state ranked third in the USPS Top 10 dog bite states with 321.

The CW Network has renewed "All American: Homecoming" and "Superman & Lois" for the 2023-24 broadcast season, it was announced Monday by Brad Schwartz, president of entertainment, The CW Network. "All American: Homecoming" will return for a 13-episode third season, while "Superman & Lois" has been renewed for a 10-episode fourth season.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the $10 million commercial and industrial accelerated efficiency program. This program assists large energy-intensive entities in their efforts to reduce on-site consumption of fossil fuels through energy efficiency and electrification actions. This program will provide up to $5 million per project that is proposed to be completed and operational by 2025.

On June 11 at 01:42 a.m., the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Communications Division received a 9-1-1 call reporting a motor vehicle accident on Plaza Drive, in the Town of Wheatfield. Initial responding deputies observed a vehicle, which had struck an apartment complex located at 6855 Plaza Drive.

The Seneca Nation is hosting a two-day event of fun and camaraderie to support an important cause. Funds from the World Indigenous Suicide Prevention Charitable Golf Tournament, on Aug. 7-8 at Seneca Hickory Stick Golf Course in Lewiston and Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls, will support the fourth World Indigenous Suicide Prevention Conference. The Seneca Nation will host the conference in July 2024, marking the first time it will be held in the U.S.
