On Tuesday, KeyBank hosted its 32nd annual "Neighbors Make the Difference Day." From 1-5 p.m., hundreds of teammates in Buffalo spent time volunteering with community organizations at more than 40 service projects in the region. They joined thousands of KeyBank teammates nationwide in receiving paid time off to volunteer at more than 500 projects in the neighborhoods where they live and work.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced the $10 million commercial and industrial accelerated efficiency program. This program assists large energy-intensive entities in their efforts to reduce on-site consumption of fossil fuels through energy efficiency and electrification actions. This program will provide up to $5 million per project that is proposed to be completed and operational by 2025.

Sunday motor vehicle accident in Wheatfield

On June 11 at 01:42 a.m., the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Communications Division received a 9-1-1 call reporting a motor vehicle accident on Plaza Drive, in the Town of Wheatfield. Initial responding deputies observed a vehicle, which had struck an apartment complex located at 6855 Plaza Drive.
