Houghton University will host the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine for a concert on the Western New York campus on Wednesday, Feb. 1. The orchestra is led by principal conductor Theodore Kuchar, who joined the faculty of Houghton's Greatbatch School of Music in fall of 2022 as the professor of orchestral conducting.

The CW Network announced premiere dates for the final seasons of "Riverdale" and "Nancy Drew." The seventh season of "Riverdale" will bow Wednesday, March 29 (9 p.m. ET/PT), following an original episode of "The Flash"; while the fourth season of "Nancy Drew" will debut Wednesday, May 31 (8 p.m.), followed by an original episode of "Riverdale." Both final seasons will conclude on the same night, Wednesday, Aug. 23, with the series finale of "Nancy Drew" (8 p.m.) followed by the series finale of "Riverdale" (9 p.m.).

Island Records/Interscope/Universal Music Canada on Wednesday announced the release of "Songs Of Surrender."
