Alzheimer's Association hosts roundtable to discuss latest research, address opportunities to participate

The Western New York Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will host a research roundtable from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at City Honors School in Buffalo to share the latest developments in Alzheimer's and dementia research.

The Country Music Association has announced the initial lineup of performers for The 56th Annual CMA Awards. Offering a mix of first-time nominees, along with reigning CMA Awards winners, artists taking the stage for performances this year include Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kelly Clarkson, HARDY, Marcus King, Miranda Lambert, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Morgan Wallen, Lainey Wilson, and Zac Brown Band. The broadcast will open with a star-studded tribute to Country Music Hall of Fame member Loretta Lynn.

Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday announced all New Yorkers enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program will receive the maximum allowable level of food benefits for October.
