Her team said, "The empowering message of 'Before I Knew Jesus' (Provident Label Group/Sony Music) is the latest new music from the singer/songwriter since her 2020 self-titled EP, which included 'Truth I'm Standing On' and 'Mean Girls,' and is the first of more new songs to come."

DEC accepting waterfowl hunting permit lottery entries for duck hunting

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is accepting entries for a special permit to hunt waterfowl at two popular wildlife management areas (WMAs) in Western New York. The special permit will allow for hunting on the first Saturday and first Sunday of the Western Zone duck season at Oak Orchard and Tonawanda WMAs. The WMAs are primarily in Genesee and Niagara counties, with a small portion in Orleans and Erie counties.
DEC announces finalization of campground and day-use area unit management plan to help combat aquatic invasive species

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Basil Seggos recently announced the finalization of a unit management plan amendment to guide siting, construction, and management of watercraft decontamination facilities at DEC campgrounds and day-use areas. The construction and permanent placement of watercraft decontamination facilities supports DEC's ongoing efforts to prevent the spread of harmful aquatic invasive species (AIS).

ESD announces expansion & new location for Top Seedz in Erie County

Empire State Development recently announced the expansion of Top Seedz, an artisan cracker manufacturer, to a larger production facility at 101 Oak St., in downtown Buffalo. Presently working out of a 6,500-square-foot facility in Cheektowaga, Top Seedz will relocate to the new, 34,379-square-foot location, where it will produce and ship its crackers. The company plans to retain 28 existing jobs and hire an additional 20 to support its growth.

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Commissioner Basil Seggos announced changes to wild turkey hunting regulations that will provide hunters additional hunting opportunities. The finalized regulation establishes a spring turkey season in Suffolk County in 2023, with a season limit of one bearded bird, and makes No. 9 shot legal for hunting turkeys statewide during the fall and spring seasons.
