The photo exhibit at the Central Library in downtown Buffalo is part of the UB research project "Developing a Sense of Meaningful Belonging among Veterans." In addition to the exhibit's March 15 opening, the project will also host a panel discussion with local veterans on April 3.

The New York Power Authority on Friday announced the reopening of its Power Vista visitors center in Lewiston at 1 p.m. Monday, March 7. Thereafter, the admission-free visitors center, located at 5777 Lewiston Road, will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except some holidays.

Providers can receive up to $21,000 under this initiative, which is focused on attracting diverse individuals into the prevention field and providing them a pathway toward a professional credential.

Congressman Brian Higgins announced the passage of H.R. 2142 on Monday. Sponsored by Higgins, the bill designates the Central Park Post Office, at 170 Manhattan Ave., Buffalo, as the "Indiana Hunt-Martin Post Office Building."
