Congressman Brian Higgins, New York State Senate Minority Leader Rob Ortt, Assemblyman Angelo Morinello and City of Niagara Falls Mayor Robert Restaino joined Niagara Falls Public Library Director Sarah Potwin on Friday to announce more than $210,000 in grants expanding access to broadband and technology for residents in Niagara Falls.

The holidays may be the most wonderful time of the year, but many serious household accidents occur in December. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), on average, there are about 160 decorating-related injuries each day during the holiday season, with almost half of the incidents involving falls. In the 2019 holiday season, about 14,800 people were treated in emergency rooms due to holiday decorating-related injuries.

Artpark & Company awarded $49,500 by New York State Council on the Arts

Artpark & Company has received a grant award totaling $49,500 from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), part of an effort to support the recovery of the nonprofit arts and culture sector. Following New York state's $105 million investment in the arts for fiscal year 2022, NYSCA has awarded more than $80 million since June.

Higgins: New York to receive over $2.2 billion in federal highway funding

Congressman Brian Higgins announced New York state will receive more than $2.223 billion in federal funding in fiscal year 2022 to rebuild the state's roads and bridges thanks to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. This represents a 21%-plus increase in federal highway funding for New York over the current year's allocation.

Congressman Brian Higgins announced $8,771,135 in federal grant funding awarded to the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BNIA) and Niagara Falls International Airport (IAG). Rich Family Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Rich Products, has announced a $1 million grant to the Say Yes Buffalo Endowment Campaign. The gift, which will be distributed over the next five years, directly removes financial barriers to thousands of Buffalo public and charter high-school graduates who seek to earn a certificate, associate's or bachelor's degree. And it doubles the foundation's previous donation to Say Yes - a five-year grant of $500,000 awarded in 2016.

M&T Bank expands ATM service in New York in partnership with Delta Sonic

M&T Bank continues to make investments in its branch and ATM network.
