Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday announced $2.8 million is now available to help municipalities purchase or lease zero-emission vehicles for fleet use and to install public charging stations. Administered by the State Department of Environmental Conservation and announced during the weeklong celebration of Earth Day 2021, the grants are part of New York's commitment to support municipal efforts to meet the challenges posed by climate change.

The U.S. Small Business Administration announced the first round of technology partners participating in a new initiative for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) - a program that will allow eligible restaurants and other food establishments to access the RRF application or data they need to fill out the application through their trusted point-of-sale (POS) service providers. Barring a monumental miracle by June 1, the Toronto Blue Jays will again call downtown Buffalo's Sahlen Field home. The Canadian government has yet to grant them approval to return to the Rogers Centre. With COVID-19 cases on the rise in Canada, and Ontario recently entering another lockdown, it is unlikely the Jays will return to the field they last called home in 2019 anytime soon.

On Wednesday, it was announced the Hulu Originals comedy series "How I Met Your Father" from Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger ("This Is Us," "Love, Victor") has received a straight-to-series order to stream exclusively on Hulu in the U.S. The 10-episode comedy will star Hilary Duff ("Younger") as Sophie, with Duff also serving as a producer.
