The legislators are questioning why the Senate majority leader and the speaker of the Assembly failed to appoint ad hoc members to the siting board of the proposed Bear Ridge solar project.
Niagara Greenway Commission June meeting

The Niagara River Greenway Commission will meet on Tuesday, June 11, to determine the consistency of the 86th round of projects. The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. at the Old Fort Niagara Officers Club, 2 Scott Ave, Youngstown. The general meeting will be preceded by the business meeting, which is at 2 p.m.
Morinello commends efforts to resolve Lake Ontario flooding crisis

On Monday, June 10, Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello will meet with Gov. Andrew Cuomo, state legislators, and the Lake Ontario Resiliency and Economic Development Commission (REDI) at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester to discuss Lake Ontario's rapidly rising water levels. Attendees will identify ways to strengthen and reinforce the lake's shoreline, and work to limit damage if water levels rise in the future.
