The National Hockey League will release the NHL Central Scouting Bureau's final rankings for the 2019 NHL Draft at 11 a.m. Monday, April 15. The rankings, featuring the top 217 skaters and 31 goaltenders in North America, as well as the top 135 skaters and 12 goaltenders internationally, will be available on NHL.com and media.nhl.com.

The North Tonawanda Botanical Garden Organization is sponsoring its fourth annual winter cleanup/work day from 9 a.m. until noon, on April 27, at the North Tonawanda Botanical Garden, 1825 Sweeney St. The public is invited to help with winter cleanup and preparation for planting. On the same day, NTBGO will host a Chiavetta's chicken dinner fundraiser from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Botanical Garden. Tickets are $12 and all proceeds go towards purchasing plant material and supplies for the Botanical Garden. To purchase tickets in advance, call 692-0237 or email ntbgo@hotmail.com.
