On Monday night a tanker truck carrying refrigerated hydrogen crashed in the parking lot of the Wegmans on Military Road in the Town of Niagara. The tanker began to leak the hydrogen and first responders ended up blocking off every entrance onto Military Road from Niagara Falls Boulevard to Fashion Outlets Boulevard and Third Avenue. Refrigerated hydrogen is very dangerous, as it is flammable and can cause instant and severe frostbite.

Congressman Brian Higgins marked the opening of the new Bailey Avenue Bridges, crossing Cazenovia Creek and the Buffalo River. The $22 million infrastructure project, which includes over $15 million in federal funding, is the largest public works project currently underway in the City of Buffalo.

Delivering energetic pop music with a dance/electronic edge, geared toward youth and young adults, the four-piece band from southern California is made up of siblings Ryan, McKenna, Kyrsten and Luke Johns. A major risk factor for breast cancer, which is relatively unknown to women, is dense breasts. Knowing one's breast density is another part of the ongoing fight that assists in the early detection and prevention of breast cancer. Only one in eight women are aware that their breast density is a risk factor for breast cancer. One in five women are aware that dense breast tissue makes it harder to find cancer on a mammogram or show any changes in the breast.

The Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons might not be in the playoffs this year as they'd hoped, but they were in action on Saturday, in an extra regular season matchup versus Frontier High School. The Falcons came out on top, 41-26, in the last home game of 2017.
