Global superstar and the top-selling female artist of all-time, Mariah Carey will bring her "All I Want For Christmas Is You" tour to Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino. The show is set for 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, inside the Seneca Niagara Events Center.

The Niagara County Department of Health Nursing Division, in partnership with the Niagara County Office for the Aging, is offering a free diabetes self-management workshop. The series is scheduled to begin Friday, Oct. 27, at the Dale Association, 33 Ontario St., Lockport. It will run from 9-11:30 a.m.

The Niagara Power collegiate baseball team entertained kids, families and fans at Sal Maglie Stadium from 2007 to 2015. After two whole summers removed from the New York Collegiate Baseball League, the Power have come back home to Niagara Falls.
On Monday afternoon, representatives from Niagara University and the Niagara Power came together to announce the return of the Power.

The Kenan Center will present a series of themed story hours, "Tales at the Taylor Theater," for children and families. The event will kick off Sunday, Oct. 22. The October story hour event is to take place in the Kenan Center Taylor Theater at 3 p.m. with special Halloween-themed activities to follow the story.

In the face of national cuts to adolescent health funding, HOPE Buffalo, one of the Erie County Department of Health's and CAI's teen pregnancy prevention projects, has been successful in securing a federal grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for almost $1 million over three years for the Community Approaches to Reducing STDs (CARS) initiative.
