Village of Lewiston finalizing budget; demolition work continues at Fairchild site

Trustees in the Village of Lewiston have met twice with Deputy Treasurer Edward Walker, and are finalizing a budget proposal for the 2017-18 fiscal year. As it stands now, the property tax rate is set to increase 8 cents, from $7.38 per $1,000 of assessed valuation to $7.46.
