Toronto ComiCon presented by Fan Expo Canada, announced it will host a special reunion with the original cast of the groundbreaking series "Degrassi High." For the first time in 20 years, Pat Mastroianni (Joey Jeremiah), Stacie Mistysyn (Caitlin Ryan), Stefan Brogren (Snake "Archie" Simpson), Kirsten Bourne Kelly (Tessa Campanelli) and Dan Woods (Mr. Raditch) will all be together to meet their fans.

Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Lecrae has released "River of Jordan," featuring vocals from Breyan Isaac. The song is the latest available track from "The Shack: Music from and Inspired by the Original Motion Picture." "River of Jordan" is now available for streaming and purchase at all DSPs. "The Shack: Music from and Inspired by the Original Motion Picture" is set for release on Feb. 24.

Twenty-year-old Carly Marrs of North Tonawanda, whose vehicle struck and killed two teenagers last summer, was sentenced Feb. 8 to pay a $243 fine for imprudent speed. She was also convicted of unlawful possession of marijuana. However, she was found not guilty for reckless driving, a misdemeanor; and an unspecified violation.

On Tuesday, U.S. Border Patrol received an anonymous call that there were 12-20 illegal immigrants at an address on Long Road on Grand Island. In response, agents assigned to the Buffalo Border Patrol Station increased patrols in the area.

Grammy-nominated worship leader Kari Jobe just released her third album, "The Garden." It was the No. 7 best-selling album this week according to the Billboard top albums chart. This week, Republican Assemblyman Angelo J. Morinello was assigned to an additional committee for the 2017-18 legislative session. Morinello will now serve on the labor committee in addition to his previous committee assignments, which include committees on codes, higher education, housing and tourism, and veterans' affairs (where he is the ranking minority member).

At its annual meeting, the board of directors of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra Foundation Inc. elected John Zak as chair and secretary, and Todd Scherrer as treasurer. Members also added BPO Chair Steve Swift as a new director. Additionally, Daniel Hart was named president, and Kevin James was named vice president of finance.
