Multiplatinum, Grammy-nominated band Goo Goo Dolls will hit the road this fall for their second headline run in support of their latest release, "Boxes," this time featuring support from SafetySuit. The tour kicks off Oct. 26 in Boise, Idaho, and will run through December.

Coverage also featured the U.S. women's 4x100m medley relay team of Dana Vollmer, Lilly King, Simone Manuel and Kathleen Baker winning gold, as well as Connor Jaeger's silver medal win in the men's 1500m swim.

Erie Canal Harbor Development Corp. announced the christening Friday of the Harbor Queen, a new double-decker tour boat docked at Canalside. The newly built, multi-hulled boat is the latest to be added to the fleet of Buffalo River History Tours, and will carry passengers on daily, informative 90-minute narrated tours of Buffalo's waterfront.
