Monday, March 2
•5900 block of Garlow Road, forgery – Caller reported a relative was scammed for money. Patrols said a female opened multiple bank accounts and was sending money to various individuals and locations. LPD said approximately $30,000 was involved in the transactions. Investigation pending.
•700 block of Legacy Drive, forgery – Caller reported a forged check, report only. Complainant said a bank statement revealed a check was fraudulently charged and cashed. Report taken.
•600 block of Walker Drive, suspicious activity – Caller said a blue SUV drove by the residence; caller suspects the occupant was previously harassing her. Officers checked area with negative results.
•200 lake Road, warrant service – Officer initiated. Patrol attempted to serve a warrant. Negative results reported.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. One driver cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Two warnings issued.
Tuesday, March 3
•4000 block of Creek Road, LPD office, harassment – Patrol reported a walk-in harassment complaint. Resident said an ex-boyfriend sent more that 150 texts and 40 phone calls. Patrol spoke with both parties.
•2100 block of Walden Avenue, Orchard Park, warrant service – Patrol on location for a warrant execution.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Six drivers cited with nine uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Reports taken. Six warnings issued.
Wednesday, March 4
•900 block of Balmer Road, check welfare – Per dispatch activity, welfare check requested by the school district.
•3600 block of Witmer Road, vehicle/traffic stop – Officer initiated. Driver cited for aggravated unlicensed operation, third degree; operating while the registration is suspended/revoked; and driving while intoxicated. Appearance and uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Report taken.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Two drivers cited with four uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Report taken. Five warnings issued.
Thursday, March 5
•4600 block of Porter Center Road, assist public – 911 caller reported a mother-son domestic, verbal only. Officers responded.
•400 block of River Walk Drive, animal complaint – Caller said a skunk was walking in circles in the backyard for the past two to three hours. Patrol responded. Skunk laid to rest.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Five drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Five warnings issued.
Friday, March 6
•500 block of Irving Drive, check welfare – Caller said a neighbor has not been at home for months and a sump pump is running constantly. Officers responded.
•2100 bock of Swann Road, assist public – 911 caller said an ex-roommate has her belongings. Patrol attempted contact without success. Caller advised to recontact the subject or pursue the matter in civil court.
•4600 block of Porter Center Road, forgery – Caller reported an unknown subject attempted to open an electric account in his name. Officers responded, report to come.
•200 block of Portage Road, accident hit-run – Caller reported a vehicle was struck at a business several days earlier. Caller seeking video footage. Patrol advised caller on reporting procedures.
•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, check welfare – Anonymous 911 caller reported a driver in a vehicle was drinking and appears intoxicated. Officers checked area with negative results.
•Saunders Settlement/Mayflower roads, traffic complaint/investigation – 911 caller reported a gray pickup truck driving erratically. Patrol checked area with negative results.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. One driver cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Report taken. Four warnings issued.
Saturday, March 7
•5900 block of Hyde Park Boulevard, domestic disturbance – 911 caller said a male kicked in a door. Subject intoxicated. Patrols responded. Report taken.
•Niagara Scenic Parkway/Ridge Road, vehicle/traffic stop – Officer initiated. Female driver issued numerous warnings by patrol, including no front license plate, not using a turn signal, registration sticker not affixed to vehicle, and having no driver’s license while driving.
•Porter Center/Balmer roads, animal complaint – Caller reported 12 loose cows in the roadway. Patrol responded.
•5300 block of Military Road, hospital, assist public – Male caller to 911 said a security guard was being mean while requesting a ride. Patrols responded; courtesy transport provided to male.
•4200 block of Wolf Run, noise complaint – 911 caller reported a loud noise, possibly a gunshot or transformer explosion. Patrol checked area with negative results.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Twelve drivers cited with 15 uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Reports taken. Twelve warnings issued.
Sunday, March 8
•2300 block of Ridge Road, assist – Officer initiated. Patrol stopped for a utility pole arching on top. National Grid notified and will respond.
•5900 block of Tuscarora Road, damage to property – Caller said a house was vandalized, egged and other damage reported. Vehicle make/color uncertain. Caller suspects a juvenile who doesn’t get along with the caller’s son. Patrol advised caller and to perform area checks.
•900 block of Center Street, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Suspicious individuals on location after hours. Parties left a bar/restaurant and were on location looking for food at a closed market. Subjects advised.
•700 block of Center Street, suspicious activity – 911 caller said a male was carrying a machine gun in his backpack. Patrols checked area with negative results.
•900 block of Cayuga Street, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Patrol stopped for a suspicious vehicle behind a funeral home. Officers found a male parked and watching a show on his phone. Nothing suspicious, and all 10-4.
