Nickel City Comic Con returns to Buffalo with star-studded lineup

Nickel City Comic Con (NCC), Western New York’s premier pop culture celebration, is officially returning to the Buffalo Convention Center from Friday, June 27, to Sunday, June 29.

The 2025 convention boasts an extraordinary roster of celebrity guests, including icons from film, television and professional wrestling. Fans will have the opportunity to meet legendary actor Danny Trejo; Randy Quaid and Beverly D’Angelo from the “Vacation” film franchise; Ray Park from “Star Wars”; wrestling legends Ric Flair, Trish Stratus, Lita and The Hardy Boyz; and original cast members from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” among many others.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring the area’s largest pop culture celebration back to Buffalo,” said Chris Dabrowski, president of Nickel City Comic Con. “Although it’s been a New York minute since our last show, 2025 marks our most ambitious year yet. We’re packing the weekend with more celebrity guests, vendors, and fan experiences than ever before.”

This year’s NCC will feature hundreds of exhibitor booths, comic book artists, exclusive merchandise, themed panels, and one of the region’s most competitive cosplay contests. VIP and “Rockstar Experience” packages offer enhanced access, autographs, photo ops, and behind-the-scenes perks for dedicated fans.

“What makes Nickel City Comic Con special is that it’s built by fans, for fans,” Dabrowski added. “We aim to create a space where people of all ages can come together to celebrate their passions – whether that’s comics, sci-fi, gaming, anime, or classic ’80s movies. It’s a weekend to be yourself, meet your heroes, and make new memories.”
