Lewiston Police blotter for Nov. 28, 2025

The following activity occurred Thursday, Oct. 30, to Friday, Nov. 7, as reported by the Lewiston Police Department. LPD responded to more than 225 calls during this period. Thursday, Oct. 30

•5000 block of Saunders Settlement Road, MVA-property damage – Officer initiated. Driver stated she was delivering a food order and misjudged the driveway, driving into a ditch and causing front-end damage. No injuries; vehicle winched out, accident report taken.

•Lewiston Road/Hyde Park Boulevard, assist public – Officer initiated. Patrol assisted a disabled vehicle. Driver lost trying to enter Canada. Patrol assisted with directions.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; three drivers cited with four uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report taken. Three warnings issued.

Friday, Oct. 31

•5700 block of Homestead Place, suspicious activity – Caller reported two subjects in costumes; both took off from a yard. Patrol located two females waiting for a ride after “friends” kicked them out of a car after a Halloween party. Females ran, as they feared getting into trouble. Patrol remained on standby for their ride.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; four drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Ten warnings issued.

Saturday, Nov. 1

•200 block of Portage Road, assist public – Guest failed to check out of a motel; all belongings still in room and subject not answering phone. Officers responded, but were unable to make contact with the guest. Staff removed and stored belongings from room.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; five drivers cited with six uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Report taken. Eleven warnings issued.

Sunday, Nov. 2

•4700 block of N. Fifth Street, assist public – 911 caller said the grandmother has remote access to the granddaughter’s tablet. Patrol responded.

•2000 block of N. Sixth Street, suspicious activity – 911 caller reported a male with flashlight walking up and down the side of the house; patrol responded.

•Susies Lane/Upper Mountain Road, animal complaint – Caller reported three Chihuahuas in boxes, roadside. One injured, possibly hit by a vehicle. Officers responded; animals taken to SPCA.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; four drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Report taken. Two warnings issued.

Monday, Nov. 3

•5900 block of Kline Road, domestic disturbance – 911 caller reported a friend on location and arguing. Patrol responded; parties uncooperative and declined assistance.

•600 block of Oxbow Drive, trespass – Caller reported an unwanted person on location. Officers spoke with both parties; male half trespassed from the caller’s residence.

•2800 block of Tallman Street, forgery – Caller reported a phone scam with personal information given. Patrol said the caller made contact with her banks; female advised not to speak to unknown individuals via phone, and not provide any personal information.

•I-290/Niagara Scenic Parkway, check welfare – Caller reported a party riding a scooter on the parkway. Patrol located the male who said he was OK and heading home from church. Male advised to stay off roadways with a handicapped scooter.

•700 block of Center Street, assist public – Officer initiated. Patrol flagged down by an individual concerned about her daughter borrowing and driving her vehicle with a suspended license. Patrol assisted.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; two drivers cited with four uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Report taken. Four warnings issued.

Tuesday, Nov. 4

•3500 block of Lower Mountain Road, forgery – Caller said a social media mugshot page was falsely reporting her arrest that did not occur. Patrol determined the caller’s sister had used her name in a previous traffic stop; charges pending for impersonation and providing a false name.

•2300 block of Saunders Settlement Road, suspicious activity – Caller reported a customer screaming at an employee and making threats with a pistol. Officers responded.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; nine drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Reports taken. Five warnings issued.

Wednesday, Nov. 5

•800 block of Page Avenue, animal complaint – Caller reported a raccoon walking in circles and acting strange. Patrol and Wild Kritters responded; raccoon hungry and climbed a tree. All OK.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; five drivers cited with six uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Report taken. Eight warnings issued.

Thursday, Nov. 6

•Center Street eastbound/Niagara Scenic Parkway, lost/found property – 911 report of a severe MVA crash/accident. Officers found that no accident occurred. A cell phone was located and returned to its owner. Driver left cell phone on the vehicle and drove off.

•700 block of Upper Mountain Road, animal complaint – Caller reported a live deer was stuck 10 feet down in well. Officers responded.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; four drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Seven warnings issued.

Friday, Nov. 7

•900 block of James Drive, suspicious activity – Per dispatch activity, patrols out on a suspicious person call. Male stated he works for a regenerative solar company and flew in from Chicago to survey local electric customers on solar packages. Male found not soliciting/attempting to sell product; subject advised to carry on.

•5800 block of Lewiston Road, suspicious activity – 911 caller reported a male on location refusing to leave the premises. Staff advised patrol the male since left on foot toward a nearby hospital. Area checked with negative results; staff advised.

•4700 block of Model City Road, lost/found property – Wallet found. Patrol said a company employee located the wallet while on trash pickups. Patrol returned to the rightful owner.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; two drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for town court. Seven warnings issued.
