Helping to bring holiday joy to residents of the Ransomville Heritage Manor, members of the Youngstown Lions Club were joined Dec. 11 by Niagara County Legislator Irene Myers and Niagara County Sheriff Mike Filicetti, along with Santa Claus and Youngstown Lions Club Past President Millie the Elf. The evening nursing home visit included group singing led by the Scouts, whose troop is sponsored annually by the Youngstown Lions Club. Individual gift bags filled by the Youngstown Lions, plus snacks, were presented to each resident – with major donated items to the home arranged by Myers.
