SUNY Niagara press release

The NCCC Foundation and SUNY Niagara Alumni Association are now accepting nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award – and inviting alumni to reconnect at an alumni happy hour on April 9.

The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes graduates who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement, leadership and community service. Community members are encouraged to nominate individuals who reflect SUNY Niagara’s values and commitment to excellence – nominations are due by April 30. This award represents the highest honor by the college.

“Each year, we are proud to celebrate alumni who are making a meaningful impact in our community,” said Courtney Helinski, director of development for the NCCC Foundation. “This award honors those who continue to carry the SUNY Niagara mission forward.”

SUNY Niagara will host an alumni happy hour from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Fattey Beer Co. @ Wurlitzer in North Tonawanda. The event offers alumni an opportunity to reconnect, network, and engage with the college community. RSVP is required.

“These initiatives are a great way to bring our alumni community together,” Helinski added. “Whether you graduated recently or decades ago, we look forward to welcoming you back.”

To submit a nomination or register for the happy hour event, visit https://sunyniagara.edu/alumni-foundation or contact the NCCC Foundation at 716-614-5910.
