The Niagara County/America 250 anniversary drone show saw a huge crowd come out to Old Fort Niagara on Saturday. It was an evening of music – with the Niagara County Wide America 250 Concert Band, David & Ginger Hildebrand, the 10th Mountain Division U.S. Army Band, and The MacKenzie Highlanders Pipes and Drums – and there were living history programs, food and camaraderie throughout the daylong Revolutionary War encampment prior to the lightshow.
A fantastic drone show by Skyworx Drone Light Show capped the evening. Unfortunately, a few minutes before the drone show ended, the skies opened up and everyone ended up soaked. Despite the rain, it was a great evening in Youngstown.
Old Fort Niagara also is celebrating: A year-long celebration is marking the 300th anniversary of the iconic French Castle.
