Monday, Aug. 3

•900 block of Upper Mountain Road, assist public – Officers on location for a resident who reported a family member with Alzheimer’s-related issues.

•4400 block of Lower River Road, forgery – Caller reported an unknown individual gained unauthorized access to multiple financial accounts. No money taken. Report only.

•500 block of Sherwood Court, domestic disturbance – 911 caller reported a male-female domestic. Officers spoke with both parties; no physical contact involved and male party leaving for the night.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Seven drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Seven warnings issued. Report taken.

•2500 block of Lower Mountain Road, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Patrol stopped for two vehicles in a parking lot after hours. Two registered owners of vehicles “engaged in teenage activities.” Patrol took possession of a THC pen and cannabis; parties sent on their way.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Zero activity. One warning issued.

Tuesday, Aug. 4

•700 block of Center Street, damage to property – Caller said a delivery truck struck the menu board at a drive-thru and failed to report accident. Caller said the driver ordered and paid for an order and left. Negative results on search of vehicle. Report taken.

•700 block of Cayuga Street, accident hit-run – 911 caller reported a hit-run accident. Patrol responded and statement taken. Unoccupied parked vehicle was damaged. Vehicle No. 1 left scene. Negative results on patrol’s search.

 •LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Nineteen drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. One warning issued.

Wednesday, Aug. 5

•Dickersonville/Schoolhouse roads, MVA-injuries – 911 caller reported a vehicle in a ditch on its side; driver’s side window broken. Unknown if unoccupied.

•900 block of Pletcher Road, traffic complaint/investigation - Patrol stopped for a vehicle parked on opposite side of roadway in lane of travel. Registered owner awoken and advised to pull into driveway.

•700 block of Center Street, check welfare – Caller reported a male passed out in front of a pizzeria business in mid-day. Caller said the male awoke, gave a thumbs up, and went back to sleep. Officers said the male was very disheveled. Subject walked away, refusing assistance.

•4300 block of Porter Center Road, damage to property – Caller reported a neighbor drove a truck through the yard, causing damage. Patrol observed ruts in lawn linked to vehicle. Owner to pay for repairs. Report taken.

•5000 block of Walmore Road, harassment – Caller retrieved vehicle from property. Owner now claiming caller damaged driveway and is threatening. Officers responded and call handled.

•4100 block of Dickersonville Road, accident hit-run – Caller said a vehicle went off roadway into caller’s front yard. A brief discussion followed ,then the driver took off without providing information. Vehicle driver located following investigation by officers. Driver cited for leaving the scene of a property-damage accident. UTT issued for town court. Report taken.

•700 block of Onondaga Street, forgery – Caller reported a bank fraud and computer hacked. Caller advised of computer hacking, but had transferred $20,000 from a savings account. Caller then advised by a Florida bank of a newly opened account in caller’s name with $18,428.92 deposited. Caller had the bank freeze the account. LPD handling. Report taken.

•100 block of Center Street, assist – Caller reported juveniles at a hotel entering occupants’ rooms; subjects not guests and kicking in doors. Officers checked area for juveniles, with negative results. Report taken.

•600 block of Raymond Rive, assist – 911 caller reported a male/female verbal domestic. Officers reported party had a verbal argument over a duck. No report wished. Male left for the evening.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Five drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Nine warnings issued.

Thursday, Aug. 6

•100 block of N. Seventh Street, harassment – Officer initiated. Caller said an ex-coworker came to the house and started blaming her for a lost job. Patrol advised caller to recontact LPD if she returns. Report taken.

•4500 block of Creek Road, harassment – Caller said a golfer threatened a grounds employee after he broke up an argument between two groups of golfers. Officers responded and report taken.

•400 block of Barton Drive, check welfare – 911 caller reported a male in roadway walking northbound. Subject stopped to urinate roadside. Male located by patrol. All 10-4. Subject heading home from library.

•700 block of Ridge Road, check welfare – 911 caller said his skin was burning. Male upset with officers for responding and refused assistance.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Six drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Eleven warnings issued.

Friday, Aug. 7

•800 block of Pletcher Road, disturbance not domestic – 911 caller said a neighbor shot a pellet gun into his occupied yard. Caller concerned on potential damage. Officers spoke with shooter. Parties to handle matter civilly.

•4000 block of Creek Road, LPD office, assist public – Officer initiated. Patrol reported a walk-in complaint seeking advice on ending relationship with ex-boyfriend.

•900 block of Center Street, theft – Caller reported an unknown party took a wallet out of her purse in a shopping cart and made unauthorized purchase totaling $7,489.27. LPD investigation pending.

•N. Fifth/Oneida streets, check welfare – 911 caller reported being followed by a young female. Subject appears to be having a mental health crisis. Patrol responded.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Three drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Report taken. Five warnings issued.

Saturday, Aug. 8

•400 block of Center Street, assist public – Caller reported a female locked in a restaurant bathroom when business closed. Patrol said female was assisted by an employee and freed.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Three drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Four warnings issued.
