Tracy Roesch will be available to sign her book, “Eddie’s Journey: A Special Read for the Rescue Dog Lovers,” from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at the Island Shoppe, 1966 Whitehaven Road.
Roesch, who lives in Alaska, drove to Grand Island, where her parents live, with her 6-year-old rescue dog, Chance Z.
“I wrote the book, and transcribed from our beloved Eddie, the rescue dog,” Roesch said. “It's his story of abandonment and love.
“I'm thrilled to announce a special book signing and reading event for ‘Eddie's Journey’ this Sunday on Grand Island, New York, at the Island Shoppe. It's an honor to be asked to share Eddie's story while staying in my parent's (driveway) with rescue Chance Z in our RV for the summer.”
Eddie, who was born in 2008, died in 2023.
“Come by this Sunday, say hi, and share in Eddie's incredible story. I look forward to seeing you there,” Roesch said. “If you can't make it to the event, I'd be happy to mail you a copy (signed or unsigned). ‘Eddie's Journey’ is perfect for rescue dog lovers and anyone who has experienced abandonment and found or is seeking love.”
Some of the proceeds of the book sales go to a local rescue organization in Anchorage, Alaska.
