The Village of Lewiston’s oldest and most historic church will host four special services during Holy Week.
Palm Sunday service on April 13 will be led by Mark Aquino and will be held in the main sanctuary at 11:15 a.m.
A Maundy Thursday service will be held April 17 and will include a soup and bread supper in the blue room at 5:30 p.m. A special service will follow allowing participants to experience the life of Jesus through stations that engage one’s senses and invite them to draw closer to Jesus in prayer.
Good Friday worship on April 18 will begin at 7 p.m. in the main sanctuary. The joint service will be led by pastors from Youngstown Presbyterian Church, Riverside Presbyterian Church and Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church. First Presbyterian Church Niagara Falls and Island Presbyterian Church will also participate.
Easter Sunday worship will begin at 11:15 a.m. in the main sanctuary. Rev. Joshua Trautmann, executive presbyter and stated clerk of the Presbytery of Western New York, will lead the service. An Easter egg hunt will follow.
All services are open to the public. The church is located at 505 Cayuga St., and is handicapped-accessible, with parking available on the street or in a large lot behind the building. Visit on Facebook or at www.lewistonpres.org.
