The Grand Island Lions Club has announced plans for its 56th annual spaghetti dinner to benefit children with special needs. Open to the community, the dinner will take place from 5-8 p.m. Monday, April 28, at Ellden’s Grill and Banquet, 201 Whitehaven Road.

Dinner includes spaghetti and meatballs, bread and salad, Cost is $12 for adults and $5 for children aged 7 and under. Eat in or takeout. A baked goods sale, 50/50s and basket raffles and a cash bar will also be available. Lions members will also collect nonperishable food items and diapers for The Neighbors Foundation at the dinner.
