Friday, May 2

•600 block of Mountain View Drive, burglary – 911 caller reported a loud banging noise and possible voices in the house. Patrols cleared the house; no signs of burglary found, and branches in yard a possible source of the noise.

•4600 block of Dickersonville Road, check welfare – Officer initiated. Caller reported a vehicle with the driver slumped over the wheel. Officers said the driver bent over to pick up a cell phone that fell. No other problems found.

•University Drive, college campus, domestic disturbance – 911 complaint; patrols responded.

•4000 block of Creek Road, LPD office, police services – Officer initiated. Walk-in harassment complaint; patrol handled, report taken.

•Seneca Street/Portage Road, assist – Officer initiated. Caller reported two juveniles with motorbikes in the area. Juveniles located by patrol and advised on current laws regarding motorbikes – parents also advised.

•University Drive, college campus, harassment – 911 caller reported his daughter’s ex has been harassing her while in a holding cell. Patrol reported, report taken.

•5300 block of Military Road, hospital, suspicious activity – 911 caller reported finding contraband on a patient; drugs suspected. Items turned over to LPD officers for destruction.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops throughout the village and town for motor vehicle violations; five drivers cited with six uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Five warnings issued.

Saturday, May 3

•Buffalo/Maple streets, vehicle/traffic stop – Officer initiated. Driver cited for aggravated unlicensed operation, third degree. Appearance and uniform traffic tickets issued for Lewiston Town Court. Report taken.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; two drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for Town Court. Four warnings issued.

Sunday, May 4

•500 block of Meadowbrook Drive, assist public – Caller reported the front license plate lost or stolen. MV form issued; report taken.

•5900 block of Kline Road, alarm burglary – Alarm provider reported two motion sensors activated. Said call canceled; pass code received from keyholder.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; six drivers cited with seven uniform traffic tickets issued for Town Court. Eight warnings issued.

Monday, May 5

•5700 block of Lewiston Road, mental health check – 911 call from other agency; LPD officers responded.

•2200 block of Mount Hope Road, traffic complaint/investigation – Anonymous 911 caller reported a dark gray Dodge Charger speeding up and down the road. Area checked by patrol with negative results.

•5200 block of Walmore Road, domestic disturbance – Caller said the ex put trackers in a vehicle and messed with the fuses. Officer responded, report taken.

•800 block of Center Street, MVA-property damage – 911 caller reported a three-vehicle accident. Statements taken from two drivers; vehicle No. 3 was parked. No injuries and two vehicles towed. Report taken.

•4000 block of Creek Road, LPD office, follow up – Officer initiated. LPD reported one individual in custody on previous charges.

•5800 block of Buffalo Street, assist – 911 caller reported juveniles on e-bikes ridging up and down the street without helmets. Officers responded, juveniles GOA; area checked with negative results.

•4600 block of Porter Center Road, harassment – 911 complaint; patrols responded, report taken.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; no drivers cited; two warnings issued.

Tuesday, May 6

•900 block of Balmer Road, police services – 911 call; home visit requested by school district.

•1900 block of Mount Hope Road, harassment – Caller said the ex keeps calling after being told to cease. Patrol advised caller on harassment criteria and to recontact if complaint continues.

•Hewitt Drive/Military Road, traffic complaint/investigation – Per dispatch activity, LPD advised of vehicles passing through neighborhoods and not following signage; two drivers cited and numerous vehicles reported in area.

•5200 block of Lewiston Road, check welfare – 911 passerby/caller reported a male lying on the ground; subject was trying to hitchhike. Male located by patrol and given a courtesy ride to the Village of Lewiston.

•Heritage Way, check welfare – Crisis Services call; patrols responded, report taken.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; five drivers cited with seven uniform traffic tickets issued for Town Court. Eight warnings issued.

Wednesday, May 7

•400 block of S. Fourth Street, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Patrol stopped a suspicious vehicle with parties coming out of the woods. Call handled.

•Saunders Settlement/Bridgman roads, MVA-property damage – 911 caller reported a car-deer accident. Statement taken from driver; medical assistance declined and vehicle parked. Report taken.

•700 block of B Street, check welfare – officer initiated. Home visit requested by school district.

•900 block of James Drive, domestic disturbance – 911 complaint; patrols responded, report taken.

•900 block of Escarpment Drive, assist – 911 caller reported a female juvenile ran away; subject refusing to get back in the car. Officers responded.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; five drivers cited with uniform traffic tickets issued for Town Court. Five warnings issued.

Thursday, May 8

•Hawley Street, Lockport, warrant service – Patrol picked a male with a warrant out of LPD.

•900 block of Mohawk Street, forgery – Walk-in complainant reported a scam; $15,000 in cash picked up from the residence by an unknown male. Patrol responded, report taken.

•900 block of Swann Road, forgery – 911 caller reported a scam; $500 taken in insurance scam. Insurance carrier contacted and confirmed transaction was not legitimate. Insurance fraud team to investigate; fraud report to be completed as requested by carrier and caller’s baking facility. Report taken.

•5800 block of Buffalo Street, assist – 911 caller reported a juvenile problem in the park. Subjects advised by officers.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations; one driver cited with two uniform traffic tickets issued for Town Court. Three warnings issued.
