Two national music acts descended upon Lewiston on Friday, officially starting the 2025 summer concert season.

The Driver Era
Artpark & Company welcomed The Driver Era – brothers Ross and Rocky Lynch – with their “Obsession Tour.” The show boasted one of the coolest openings of any recent Mainstage Theater show, with the band performing its first song behind a scrim. Large shadows were seen rocking out – and so, too, did the enthusiastic audience, as it heartily cheered along. The Driver Era soon appeared, on a grand setup spread across the stage, with large video boards in the back.

Since their debut single, “Preacher Man,” in 2018, The Driver Era has amassed over 500 million streams and garnered over 32 million combined followers across social media. The band’s single, “You Keep Me Up At Night,” released last fall and captivated listeners worldwide, racking up impressive streams as the brothers dive deeper into their personal experiences, adding a new layer of emotional depth to their evolving sound. “You Keep Me Up At Night” followed hit single “Get Off My Phone,” continuing the duo's exploration of relatable, raw and intimate themes.

Steven Page
Over at Academy Park, the Steven Page Trio brought a sizable crowd to the corner of Portage Road and Cayuga Street. Page, a former frontman for the Barenaked Ladies, has crafted a career that encompasses BNL songs as well as his own newer material.
This free show was presented by Barry-Hardman Productions – the concert scheduling team of Rat Barry and Chris Harden – and was attended by a number of local dignitaries, including elected leaders and business and cultural heads. It was one of the first events to utilize both the Alphonso I. DiMino Memorial Band Shell – where the trio performed – and the adjoining pavilion, where people sat and listened.
