Ride for Roswell fundraising team – Team Roswell Rollers – hosts event at Mallwitz’s Island Lanes on Thursday
Press Release
A small but mighty team for the 2025 Ride for Roswell continues its fundraising efforts with a sports & music trivia night. The charity event, hosted by fundraisers Team Roswell Rollers, takes place from 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at Mallwitz’s Island Lanes, located at 1887 Whitehaven Road, Grand Island.
The cost to participate is $40 per team, with a maximum of four people per team. Preregistration is not necessary, but encouraged. Visit the Team Roswell Rollers website at https://tinyurl.com/RoswellRollers2025.
Trivia consists of three rounds and will run on the Kahoot platform. One member of the trivia team will answer questions via a smartphone. The top three winning teams will receive various gift certificates to local establishments throughout Western New York.
Sports & music trivia night also includes basket and lottery board raffles, mystery gift card raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and discounted bowling throughout the evening. For $15, bowlers can bowl for 90 minutes, and Mallwitz’s Island will donate back $5 to Team Roswell Rollers.
Prior to 2024, Team Roswell Rollers called itself Team RPCS – Roswell Park Cessation Services. Since 2018, the team of volunteers has raised more than $64,000 for the Ride for Roswell, with all proceeds benefiting cancer treatment and research.
Team Roswell Rollers recently raised $4,900 at its fifth annual bowling event at Tonawanda Bowling Center, and held a variety of additional events throughout Western New York in May. To date, the Rollers have raised nearly $10,000 and hope to reach $15,000 before the 30th Ride for Roswell biking event Saturday, June 28, at the University at Buffalo.
