On Saturday night, Aug. 16, Old Fort Niagara will team up with Resurgence Brewing Co. of Buffalo to host “Pints on the Parade,” a unique twist on Resurgence’s popular “Pints in the Park” series. Visitors will enjoy craft beer, delicious food, live music and more, all while exploring the historic buildings and grounds of the fort. The event will also include living history interpreters in period attire, musket demonstrations, and face painting.
Hours for the event are 4:30-9 p.m.
Advance tickets are $15 for adults (one free beer included) and $10 for children 6-12. Advance tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite at https://pints-on-the-parade-2025.eventbrite.com. Tickets will also be available at the door priced at $21 for adults and $13 for children. Proceeds from the event will benefit Old Fort Niagara’s education programs, which serve 12,000 students a year.
“Pints on the Parade” carries on a tradition of brewing at the historic site that goes back over 250 years. It was in 1760 that the British established the first brewery in Western New York, just outside the walls of the fort.
