Friends of the Youngstown Free Library Press Release

Mark your calendars and bring your appetite: Rob and Melissa Kudel, owners of Bandana’s Bar & Grill, are generously hosting a “BBQ & Boil” on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 4-10 p.m. at the restaurant, 930 Lake Road, Youngstown.

Chef Rob will be cooking up a mouthwatering spread of Cajun-inspired favorites, including seafood boil, barbecue chicken, pork, mac ’n’ cheese, baked beans and salad. A special kids’ menu with plenty of family-friendly options will also be available.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Brass Chance will provide live music throughout the evening.

Seating in Bandana’s outdoor area is limited, so guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early. Tickets are $40 for adults and $12 for children under 12, available at the Youngstown Free Library or Bandana’s Bar & Grill.

All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Youngstown Free Library, helping to fund programs and services that support literacy and learning in the community.

Proceeds from this event go directly to the Friends of the Youngstown Free Library, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In an era of diminishing public library funding, the Friends help sustain vital library programs and services through fundraising and advocacy. By attending the “BBQ & Boil” – or becoming a Friend – you’re making a real difference in the life of our library and our community.
