The Town of Niagara is proud to introduce its new town logo design.
To accentuate the identity for the Town of Niagara, we have carefully thought out with the help of Town Board members, town employees, and Cindy from E-Man Inc. the history of our town that represents the town more precisely.
With a Niagara Falls mailing address and ZIP code, we are working on creating a stronger presence like the Town of Niagara, New York, rather than just a small town between other municipalities. We are small in population, but a strong commercial district has one of the busiest corners in Niagara County at Military and Packard roads, formerly known as “six corners.” We are proud to be home to the Fashion Outlets of Niagara and Wegmans in our town, as well as all the other magnificent businesses that have chosen to be here.
The background of the logo is how the town started – as farmland; the flag of 1812, with 15 stars; the year the town was incorporated; the one-room Schoolhouse No. 2, built in 1878 at Tuscarora and Lockport roads – the current location of the Town of Niagara Historical Society; the cannon represents “Military Road,” our predominant business district; and the plane is a KC135, which both the 914th and 107th units have flown from the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station – which the town is blessed to have located right here in Town of Niagara.
The “Welcome to the Town of Niagara” mural, currently under construction with Ali Price, muralist and graphic designer, on the back of Extra Space Storage (formerly Kmart), will also strongly identify and welcome tourists, shoppers, residents alike to the Town of Niagara, and we wanted to include the new logo as part of the design at this time.
The new logo will be placed behind the dais in the courtroom, and the evolution of town logos will be presented on the courtroom wall to remember all the previous designs of our history.
