Niagara International Transportation Technology Coalition Press Release
The Niagara International Transportation Technology Coalition (NITTEC) and its member agencies are advising commercial vehicles traveling to Canada to be aware of ongoing lengthy delays at the border.
Currently the following roadways and ramps are closed in the region:
√ I-190 North at Exit 24 (Witmer Road) in Niagara
√ I-190 North ramp to Exit 8 (Niagara Street) in Buffalo
√ I-190 North ramp to Exit 9 (Peace Bridge) in Buffalo
√ I-190 South ramp to Exit 8 (Niagara Street) in Buffalo
*These closures are subject to change.
Motorists in and around the area are advised to avoid these areas and seek alternate routes.
Niagara International Transportation Technology Coalition (NTTEC) is a binational coalition of agencies, authorities, municipalities and other entities in Western New York and the Niagara Region of Ontario to help get you where you are going more safely and efficiently.
